Today, the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, received the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Kosovo, Pavel Bílek, who congratulated her on her appointment.
Ambassador Bilek stressed that the relations between the two countries are good and that their deepening will continue even further. He mentioned the challenge of the Covid-19 pandemic, which the whole world is facing.
Whereas President Osmani, referring to this topic, stressed that the dialogue with Serbia can not be prioritized, as vaccines are not provided for the citizens of Kosovo. She stressed that solidarity between states is needed at this time, so she expressed hope that Kosovo will be assisted by friend countries and international organizations to provide the necessary amount of vaccines for its citizens.
Mrs. Osmani thanked the Czech state for the support so far, showing the readiness to intensify and deepen inter-state relations. Whereas, Ambassador Bílek, on the other hand, stressed that the Czech Republic supports Kosovo’s European path.
