The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani received today in a meeting the Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, Fehmi Mehmeti.
Governor Mehmeti informed President Osmani about the developments in the financial system, as well as about the measures taken during the pandemic period.
Further, President Osmani emphasized the importance of the financial stability for the overall developments in the country.
Whereas, President Osmani raised the concern about the high interest rates by banks operating in the financial market of Kosovo, by requesting their review.
Likewise, President Osmani has stressed that the CBK should also work intensively with the Government of Kosovo to ensure membership in the Green Card.
