The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani received today at a meeting the US congressman, Ritchie Torres, at the same time co-chairman of the Albanian Affairs Group in the US Congress, whom she thanked for his extraordinary work in support of the Republic of Kosovo and informer him with the developments in Kosovo and with the current security situation.
At the meeting with Congressman Torres, President Osmani focused on the strengthening of the strategic partnership with the USA as well as on his engagement to further support for Kosovo. In this regard, President Osmani emphasized that Congressman Torres is continuing the historical legacy of Congressman Eliot Engel, by being a powerful voice for Kosovo in the US Congress.
Congressman Torres emphasized that Kosovo is a steadfast friend and ally of the United States and that she will closely engage with the US administration to continue the support for the Republic of Kosovo.
