The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani Sadriu received today at a farewell meeting the Head of the Liaison Office of the Hellenic Republic to the Republic of Kosovo, Ambassador Chryssoula Aliferi.
At the meeting with Ambassador Aliferi, President Osmani praised her contribution to the strengthening of Kosovar-Greek relations in all sectors.
“The expansion of cooperation with Greece is welcomed and in benefit of both our nations. Kosovo remains committed to the intensification of the current dynamics towards recognition of the independence of the Republic of Kosovo and establishing of diplomatic relations with Greece as soon as possible,” said President Osmani.
The President thanked Ambassador Aliferi for Greece's support in Kosovo's European integration process, visa liberalization, and reiterated the position of our institutions regarding the dialogue process with Serbia, which should focus on mutual recognition.
