The President of the Republic of Kosovo Mrs. Vjosa Osmani received today a group of journalists from Kosovo, Albania, Macedonia and Presheva.
The current situation in the field of media was discussed at the meeting and that defending the truth at a time when the whole world is facing fake news is the main challenge of professional journalism.
President Osmani stressed that media are allies in the presentation of the truth about Kosovo everywhere in the world. In the context of the political developments after Russia's aggression in Ukraine, President Osmani stressed the importance of the media against the efforts of Russia and its allies to build a parallel between Kosovo and the case of Ukraine.
President Osmani praised the work of journalists and emphasized that their work is irreplaceable for spreading the truth, which is being challenged more and more every day by fake news.
