The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani received today at a meeting a delegation of the Directorate of Religious Affairs of Turkey (Diyanet), led by chairman Ali Erbas and the Head Mufti of the Islamic Community of Kosovo Naim Tërnava.
The role of BIK and other communities in cultivating religious tolerance in Kosovo was discussed at the meeting. President Osmani stressed that inter-religious tolerance in Kosovo is an outstanding value of Kosovar society and underlined the positive role of religious communities in this regard.
During the meeting, President Osmani was informed about the humanitarian projects supported by Diyanet in Kosovo.
