The President of Kosovo, Dr. Vjosa Osmani, has praised the high democratic culture shown by the citizens of Kosovo in the second round of the local elections.
Kosovo proved to be a consolidated democracy, capable of organizing free and democratic elections, an example for the region and beyond.
The President expresses her gratitude to the citizens of Kosovo for the high culture, proven in the electoral process, and congratulates the winning candidates on their victories, also wishing them to fulfill the promises given to the citizens of Kosovo.
The President expresses her gratitude to the institutions of the country for their commitment in this process, first of all the CEC for the conduct of the elections, the Kosovo Police, the media, the justice institutions and all other actors involved.
