The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani, at the invitation of President Ilir Meta, departed today for Albania where she will participate at an international conference on the subject of Current trends in the trafficking of human beings in the Western Balkans.
At this conference, President Osmani will be among the keynote speakers and will be discussing in her presentation the trafficking of human beings in the Kosovar, regional and global context.
Speakers at the conference, in addition to President Meta and President Osmani, include US senators and congressmen, UN representatives as well as representatives of non-governmental organizations dealing with the fight against trafficking in human beings.
