The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani, upon an invitation by the
Austrian President, Alexander Van der Bellen, will commence on Tuesday an official
visit to this country.
In the meeting with the Austrian counterpart, President Osmani will discuss the Austrian support provided to Kosovo on its European path, visa liberalization process, membership in international organizations and the materialisation of cooperation in the advancement of the Green Agenda.
President Osmani will also meet with Chancellor Sebastian Kurz, as well as with the Minister for Climate Action, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology Leonore Gewessler, with whom, alongside the political aspect discussions, the possibility of cooperation in specific interstate projects will also be reviewed.
During her stay in Austria, President Osmani will also meet with other state and institutional officials.
A meeting is planned with the Austria-Kosovo Friendship Association, the Kosovar diaspora, as well as with the Austrian Chamber of Commerce. Meanwhile, at the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna, President Osmani will hold a lecture on the topic of: Strengthening Kosovo's statehood – Challenges and Success Stories.
