During the visit to Prague, within the framework of the inaugural summit of the European Political Community, the President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani met the Prime Minister of Belgium Alexander De Croo, with whom she discussed bilateral relations and current issues on the European continent.
Both interlocutors highly praised interstate relations and engaged in their further expansion. While speaking on the European agenda of the Republic of Kosovo, Madam President reconfirmed the determination of country's institutions to continue working on important reforms in all areas. In this spirit, President Osmani has reiterated the importance of the conclusion of the visa liberalization process for the citizens of Kosovo as soon as possible.
President Osmani thanked Prime Minister De Cross for the Belgian support for Kosovo's membership in the Council of Europe, stressing the importance of membership for all citizens of Kosovo without distinction.
In the context of European integration, President Osmani emphasized that Kosovo is committed to advancing this process, applying for EU membership as the next step.
