The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani, received today at a meeting the new KFOR Commander Major General Angelo Michele Ristuccia and congratulated him on his appointment.
President Osmani expressed her gratitude to Major General Michele Ristuccia for the contribution of NATO's multinational forces to peace and security in Kosovo and the region.
President Osmani also mentioned the cooperation between KFOR and the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo, reiterating our country's commitment to NATO membership.
Major General Michele Ristuccia expressed his willingness to continue cooperation and regular consultations within the KFOR mandate in Kosovo.
