President Osmani met with the Director for Southeast Europe at the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs Susanne Schütz

The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani received at a meeting Ambassador Susanne Schütz, Director for Southeast Europe, Turkey, OSCE and Council of Europe at the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who congratulated madam President on her new post. Ambassador Schütz pointed out that the leadership of the institutions after the February 14 elections represent a turning point for new developments.
President Osmani expressed gratitude for Germany's comprehensive historical support for Kosovo. In this regard, President Osmani assessed that Germany remains one of the most strategic partners and allies of our country. Furthermore, President Osmani added that country's institutions are ready to engage in the opening of new chapters of cooperation with Germany and strengthening the existing ones. Ambassador Schütz reiterated that Germany supports visa liberalization and membership of the Republic of Kosovo in the European Union.

President Osmani expressed particular gratitude for Germany's assistance in clarifying of the fate of the missing by force in the recent war in Kosovo, stating that this act and bringing justice are a precondition for lasting peace and success in the dialogue process. President Osmani stressed that the dialogue should end with mutual recognition and with the establishment of mechanisms to ensure the full implementation of the final agreement.
