The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani in continuation of meetings with
European ambassadors met today with the ambassadors of Norway, Greece and
Luxembourg.
President Osmani reiterated at the meeting with the ambassadors that Kosovo is the most pro-European country and that its people share the same values ​​as other European nations. In this context, she stressed that Kosovo has met all the criteria for visa liberalization, and according to her, the recommendation of the European Commission for visa waiver should be implemented.
According to President Osmani, the liberalization of visas for citizens of Kosovo should not remain hostage to new technicalities and political decision-making should take place during the Czech Presidency while coming into force according to previous practices.
At the same time, President Osmani discussed with the ambassadors the importance of supporting Kosovo's membership in the Council of Europe, which enables the citizens of Kosovo to strengthen human rights, democracy and the rule of law.
