President Osmani met with representatives of the Pan-Albanian American Congress

The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani met the representatives of the Pan-Albanian American Congress, chaired by Mr. Bruno Ceka. President Osmani stressed the key role that the Albanian diaspora has had and still has in the strengthening of the statehood of the Republic of Kosovo.
President Osmani praised the contribution of the Albanian diaspora in the United States of America during the 1990s in the internationalization of the Kosovo issue. President Osmani emphasized the important role that the Albanian lobby in Washington has played over the years in building bridges of cooperation with senators, congressmen and US administration officials, making Kosovo's voice heard in all decision-making forums.
 
Representatives of the Pan-Albanian American Congress expressed readiness to continue the previous engagements of the Albanian diaspora in the US and discussed with Madam President the opportunities for cooperation with the Kosovo institutions.
 
President Osmani encouraged the representatives of the Congress to act in unison and to be an example of the unification of the Albanian diaspora, to promote the national interests of Kosovo in coordination with the activities of the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo.
