The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani-Sadriu and Deputy Prime Minister Donika Gërvalla received today a delegation consisting of permanent representatives of 26 NATO member countries and Sweden, which has applied for membership at this organization.
President Osmani expressed her gratitude to the representatives of NATO member states for their continued support and contribution, underlining that transatlantic unity is necessary to guarantee peace, security and stability in the region and in Europe against the malicious intentions of Russia and its proxies.
“The strategic determination of our state and our people is membership in NATO, starting with participation in the Partnership for Peace Program,” emphasized President Osmani.
According to Madam President, Kosovo is ready to contribute to peace and security in the region and beyond.
In this direction, according to President Osmani, the cooperation and coordination with allied countries and NATO will be further expanded and increased.
