President Osmani inaugurated today in Panama the statue of St. Teresa, sculpted by Kosovar sculptor Bashkim Beqiri, at a ceremony organized jointly with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Panama Erika Mouynes and the Archbishop of Panama, José Domingo Ulloa.
President Osmani stressed that she feels very happy that Panama is monumentalizing the memory of St. Teresa. This is also gratitude to her work, her values and the greatness of her personality.
Among others, President Osmani stated that as her compatriots we are very proud of the personality of St. Teresa. Likewise, she added, we are grateful to the Panamanian people for the respect shown with all the honours that can be granted to a saint.
