President Osmani in Brussels to attend the meeting of the leaders of the European Union and the Western Balkans

At the invitation of the President of the European Council Charles Michel, the President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani departed for Brussels where she will represent the Republic of Kosovo at the meeting of the leaders of the European Union and the Western Balkans.
At the meeting of the leaders of the EU and the Western Balkans, President Osmani will convey a clear message of the people of Kosovo on the need to accelerate the integration process, starting with the long-overdue visa liberalization and all the way to the support for the candidate country status for the Republic of Kosovo, upon application.

EU and Western Balkans leaders will be discussing in Brussels, among other things, the enlargement process and the European perspective of the Western Balkan countries, coordination with the EU's common foreign and security policy, and the resulting geostrategic challenges following the Russian aggression on Ukraine.

Also during her visit to Brussels, President Osmani will meet with the President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola as well as other heads of EU partner countries to increase support for Kosovo's European journey.
