The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani has sent a telegram of condolence to the Berisha family on the occasion of the passing away of the distinguished painter and activist, Daut Berisha.

Dear Berisha family,
It was with deep sadness and pain that I received the news of the passing away of the distinguished painter and distinguished activist Daut Berisha.
Painter Berisha was a prominent name in the world of art and culture, not only throughout Albanian lands but all over the world.
With his creative work and his engagement in benefit of the national cause, he quickly became an outstanding personality of culture and art, but also a reference for patriotic activity.
His works, exhibited in the world’s most famous galleries, make him an artist and man respected everywhere.
Painter Berisha left us an outstanding artistic and human legacy. At these moments we are with his family, friends and admirers of his artwork.
