The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Dr. Vjosa Osmani – Sadriu, congratulated all the Muslim believers the Month of Ramadan.

The manner of the life of our nation is solidarity among themselves. Today, when the Muslim believers start the Month of Ramadan, everyone will have the opportunity to manifest the spirit of solidarity by sharing something from their table for others, for people in need.
The Covid-19 pandemic will certainly keep us physically apart, but it will not stop our hearts from coming together.
In order to celebrate all together at the end of this month, I invite you to respect the safeguards against Covid-19, to keep the masks, to disinfect your hands and to not gather.
Let us take care of our people, because only in this manner the celebration will make sense! This month of sacrifice proves that people are willing to be there for each other, giving meaning to the one-month restrain from food and bringing to attention that the good things are always possible to be shared with others.
May mutual solidarity and peace accompany this month! To those who will sacrifice during this month, may your fasting be easy!
