The President of the Republic of Kosovo Dr. Vjosa Osmani congratulated the Muslim believers on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.
“The feast of Eid al-Fitr marks the end of a month-long fast during which the devotees demonstrated sacrifice and a spirit of solidarity by donating something of themselves to the poorest, or to the needy,” said President Osmani.
The head of state added that the essence of this holy day is solidarity, therefore all of us together must do our best to keep alive this traditional virtue of ours.

The essence of this holiday is solidarity, so together we must do our best to keep alive this traditional virtue of ours.
The pandemic will be a hindrance to the celebration of this holiday, but we must find the strength to congratulate each other in these circumstances with all our hearts and with the hope that we will soon overcome the pandemic.
Let us believe that for the next Eid we will be able to give meaning to the celebration with the physical presence of relatives and friends. To show harmony and coexistence in a solidary society!
