The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has consoled the family of the former mayor of Istog, Haki Rugova.
“I received with great sorrow the news of the early passing away of Mr. Haki Rugova, former mayor of Istog and deputy chairman of the LDK in several terms of service, an early political activist and contributor to many political processes in the country,” states President Osmani's telegram.
President Osmani said that Mr. Haki Rugova has left behind an immense political activity.
“He left behind an immense political activity, of the man actively engaged since the 90s. I convey my most sincere condolences to the family, friends and co-workers! In these difficult moments for you, I share the grief of the Rugova Family! May the memory of Mr. Haki Rugova be eternal! ”, says at the end of President Osmani's telegram.
