The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani has commemorated the Dubrava Prison massacre on its 22nd anniversary.
“The Dubrava Prison massacre is one of the most harrowing evidence of crimes committed by the Serbian genocidal regime and which has not as yet received a response from the judiciary,” the president said.

22 years ago, Serbian forces unleashed their brutality against Albanian prisoners of Dubrava prison, first torturing them and then executing 150 and wounding nearly 300 of them.
The Dubrava prison massacre is one of the most shocking pieces of evidence of crimes committed by the Serbian genocidal regime and which has not yet received a response from the judiciary.
A criminal indictment handed down by the Association of Political Prisoners made years ago still has no epilogue.
It is our commitment that the testimonies of the survivors of this crime can be addressed and justice has its say, as a precondition for lasting peace!
