Below is President Osmani's full post:

At the Peace Forum in Paris, alongside the President of Hungary, Katalin Novak, Pascal Boniface and Jean-Marie Guéhenno, we discussed the cooperation opportunities at these challenging times for our continent.

Republic of Kosovo, according to President Osmani, is the best example of a country that has experienced the terror of war, was a genocide victim but has worked intensively to become a reliable partner to the region and its international allies.

Reflecting on the current developments in Europe, but also on the challenges that our country has experienced, I emphasized that for successful cooperation and effective multilateralism, we must always remember that:

Accommodating autocrats never brings more peace. On the contrary, it creates more space for destruction and war and encourages more autocracies and hegemonies even more.

Peace is possible and long-lasting if the aggressors are not rewarded

We must never fall into the trap of bothsideism. We cannot use the argument of bothsideism when it is clear who is the victim and who is the aggressor.

Peace is only possible when there is justice for the victims and confrontation with the past. Otherwise, we risk repeating the past.

Therefore, peace and cooperation will be possible and sustainable only when partnerships are built on the basis of the same values and respecting democratic values and human rights.
