The President of the Republic of Kosovo and at the same time Commander of the Kosovo Security Force visited the “Adem Jashari” barracks in Prishtina on the Day of the Force.
On the Day of the Force, President Osmani inspected all the stations of the KSF units, respectively the exhibited tactical and operational skills and capacities.
“The Kosovo Security Force, our army, was built and structured on the sacrifice of entire generations, sublimated by the epic fall of the KLA commander Adem Jashari and his family” stated the President.
According to her, Kosovo is proud of the achievements of our army, which carries a sacred mission, the protection of the territorial integrity, sovereignty and security of the citizens of the Republic.
“The present and future of our country are in safe hands, as the KSF is moving with secure steps towards the end of the transition phase. Membership in NATO is a strategic objective of the Republic of Kosovo and a prerequisite for peace and stability in the region and beyond”, said President Osmani on the Day of the Force.
