President Osmani and Prime Minister Kurti met with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis

The heads of the Republic of Kosovo, President Vjosa Osmani, Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora Donika Gërvalla, on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference (MSC) met with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

At the meeting with Prime Minister Mitsotakis, the heads of state stressed the importance of advancing the relations between the two countries. They also emphasized the importance of the recognition of the state of Kosovo by Greece, as a natural next step towards the further expansion of relations.

President Osmani and Prime Minister Kurti asked for Greek support in the visa liberalization process, emphasizing that visa liberalization for Kosovo protects the credibility of the EU and that this process should not be interconnected with other processes.

According to the heads of state, Kosovo remains steadfast in its Euro-Atlantic orientation and its aim for membership in NATO, the UN and other international organizations.

At the meeting, the intensification of cooperation between Kosovo and Greece in the field of security, trade, culture, as well as other areas of mutual interest was also discussed.
