The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani and the Minister of Foreign
Affairs and Diaspora Donika Gërvalla met with the Prime Minister of Belize, John Briceño.
President Osmani expressed the readiness to nurturing of good relations between the two countries as well as interstate cooperation.
The signing of the memorandum of understanding on bilateral consultations by the two Foreign Ministers, Gërvalla and Eamon Courtenay is also in function of these relations.
This memorandum aims to further strengthen the interstate cooperation between the two countries in international relations, human rights, peace, security and a number of other areas.
“The memorandum expands the possibilities of cooperation between our two countries”, said President Osmani.
At the same time, Prime Minister Briceño expressed support for Kosovo while President Osmani asked Belize's engagement in the process of recognition and strengthening of Kosovo's international subjectivity.
