On the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, the President of the United States of America, Mr. Barack Obama, has sent a congratulatory telegram to the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Madam Atifete Jahjaga.

Dear Madam President,
Ramadan was the month during which families and the community joined in piety, in devotion and prayer.
On behalf of the American people, I express to you and the citizens of Kosovo the best wishes for the Feast of Eid al-Fitr. Hopefully the holy month of Ramadan has given you the opportunity to reflect and to share the blessings with families and most loved ones.
I would like to wish to you and your people peace, health and prosperity in the future.
