On this occasion, President Jahjaga said a few words, which we’re posting below:

Honourable Mayors
Honourable Ambassadors and representatives of international institutions,
Participants from other countries,
Ladies and Gentlemen,
I congratulate you on the instigation of this, by now traditional, inter-municipal and inter-national conference. Exchange of experiences and of achievements in local governance, utilisation of potentials and capacities helps to maximise the application of the competencies transferred from central to municipal level in offering the best services to citizens and in joint participation in decision making process.
This traditional fair brings to light your traditional values, distinctions and characteristics of each area that enrich our diversity and makes us regard Kosovo as our common homeland.
You will always have my support in exercising of all your functions in more efficient local governance.
