The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Madam Atifete Jahjaga on the occasion of the feast of Sultan Nevruz, visited the Tekke of the Rufai tarikat in Prizren and was received by Sheikh Adrihysein Shehu.
“Let us celebrate this day of rebirth in peace, kindness and understanding. The feast of Sultan Nevruz is the feast of revival and nobility. I wish to all the believer and all the citizens of Kosovo, at the same time, that this special day of celebration to mark as a new day of hope, rebirth and understanding”, said President Jahjaga.
President Jahjaga emphasized that Kosovo “Has demonstrated the tradition of coexistence of religions and respect for religious and cultural diversity. Let us cultivate this tradition even more to show the values of the society and a democratic culture in Kosovo”.
