President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga received at a meeting today Mr. Zsolt Nemeth, state secretary of the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
President Jahjaga stated that Kosovo has for been promoting peace and stability in the region for the past 13 years considering its vision for the future, integration in EU and NATO. President Jahjaga emphasized the importance of the support of Hungary for the developments in Kosovo and the need for this support and dedication from this friendly country to continue further on, so that Kosovo accomplishes all the necessary democratic criteria for the integration into the European family as soon as possible, supported by Hungarian expertise and experience.
President Jahjaga accentuated that today Kosovo is opening a new chapter in development of relations with all other countries and is dedicated to the implementation of all conventions, agreements and international law.
State Secretary of the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs congratulated the President of the Republic of Kosovo Mr. Atifete Jahjaga on the achievements of Kosovo and for, as he said, realisation of the dream of many generations for a completely independent and democratic state of Kosovo.
