President Jahjaga received the Head of the OSCE Mission in Kosovo, Ambassador Sclumberger

President of the Republic of Kosovo, Atifete Jahjaga, received today the Head of the OSCE Mission in Kosovo, Ambassador Jean Claude Schlumberger.

President Jahjaga praised the cooperation that the institutions of Kosovo have had so far with the OSCE Mission, while Ambassador Schlumberger expressed his readiness for the continuation of the cooperation during his tenure as the new head of this mission.

President Jahjaga said that Kosovo has ascertained itself in promotion of peace and stability in the region, with the greatest success of its people, institutions and international missions in Kosovo being achieved with the ending of the supervision of its independence.

The international Women’s Summit, held in Prishtina on October 4th to 6th, organised by the President of the Republic of Kosovo was also discussed at the meeting. The summit was deemed to be a successful one and that in order that Prishtina Principles are implemented, the institutions of Kosovo as well as the international ones must intensify their cooperation.

Ambassador Schlumberger expressed  the OSCE Mission’s readiness to provide concrete contribution towards this goal.
