The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga received today the Head of the Central Election Commission (CEC), Mrs. Valdete Daka, with whom she discussed about the announcement of the elections for mayor Kaçanik, whose mayor has given resignation the day before.
President Jahjaga and Mrs. Daka agreed that commitments should be made of all institutions, in order that the best preparations to be done for the elections for mayor of Kaçanik.
The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga has started the meetings and consultations with the representatives of the subjects and parties to set the date of the elections for mayor of Kaçanik, complying with the legal deadlines.
