The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga, received today a high delegation of the Croatian Army led by the Chief of General Staff, General Drago Lovrić.
President Jahjaga highly valued the commitment and contribution of the members of the Croatian Army, serving in the Kosovo peacekeeping force within NATO, KFOR.
She said that the relations between the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Croatia are very good and was committed to further deepen them. She said that Croatia has experience in the field of integration into NATO and could help the Kosovo Security Force by exchanging experiences.
President Jahjaga said that Kosovo and Croatia are two countries engaged in peace building and stability in the region.
General Lovric stressed that the good relations between the two countries can be deepened through the assistance that Croatia can give in the training and preparation of the KSF, so that it can reach its Operational Capacities.
