President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga, received today at a meeting the Ambassador of Mauritania to Italy, also accredited to Kosovo on non-residential basis, Ms. Mariem Aouffa, who on this occasion presented her letters of credence.
President Jahjaga congratulated Ambassador Aouffa on her new tenure and wished her success during her mandate as a non- residential Ambassador of Mauritania to the Republic of Kosovo.
President Jahjaga praised the relations between Republic of Kosovo and Mauritania, and expressed the importance of expansion of cooperation between the two countries in fields of bilateral interest.
Ambassador Mariem Aouffa expressed the readiness of the institutions of Mauritania for expansion of cooperation with the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo in all fields of interest for both countries.
