The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga received today Admiral Samuel J. Locklear, commander of the NATO Joint Forces in Naples.
President Jahjaga and Admiral Locklear discussed a range of important issues, with particular emphasis on cooperation of the institutions of the country with the NATO forces based in Kosovo.
President Jahjaga expressed Admiral Locklear the gratitude of the people and the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo for the unsparing assistance that NATO has given and is giving the people of Kosovo. In particular she stressed the great contribution of this force for the training and professionalization of the Kosovo Security Force to achieve the full capacity of this force and towards building a modern force in the service of all citizens and willing to participate in international missions, wherever it is needed.
