President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga, received today at a meeting a delegation of the Turkish Armed Forces, led by the Chief of the Turkish General Staff, General Necdet Ozel.
President Jahjaga thanked General Ozel for the continuous support of the Republic of Turkey to the citizens and the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo in all fields, particularly in the field of security.
Madam President emphasized the importance of cooperation between the Armed Forces of the Republic of Turkey and the Kosovo Security Force, in benefit of the peace and general stability in the Balkans and beyond. She also praised highly the professional help offered by the Turkish Army to the Kosovo Security Force.
President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga, the Supreme Commander of the KSF, expressed the readiness of this force, after the achievement of the full operational capacities, to participate at in international missions.
Chief of the Turkish General Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces, General Necdet Ozel, stated that Kosovo enjoys the full support of Turkey in its path of integrations into NATO, EU and other international institutions.
General Ozel also expressed the dedication for expansion of the cooperation between the Armed Forces of the Republic of Turkey and Kosovo Security Force in the benefit of general security in the Balkans, which has its impact on the global security.
