President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga, met today with the Foreign Affairs Minister of the Republic of Seychelles, Mr. Jean Paul Adam.
President Jahjaga said that Kosovo, since the declaration of its independence, has become a factor of peace and stability and promoter of good neighbourliness. She also said that Kosovo has strengthened its subjectivity in the international arena by establishing bilateral agreements with different countries.
In relation to the international consolidation of the country, President Jahjaga said that Kosovo has been recognised by 108 countries worldwide and that recognition by Seychelles would help in completion of Kosovo’s international subjectivity.
Foreign Affairs Minister Jean Paul Adam, showed interest on actual developments in Kosovo and the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia on normalization of relations. He said that Seychelles will consider the recognition of Kosovo with utmost seriousness.
