President Jahjaga met with Ambassador Menzies and a group of American students

The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga received today the Dean of Seton Hall University, Whitehead School of Diplomacy and International Relations in the USA, John Menzies, who was accompanied by a group of students of this school.

President Jahjaga in conversation with Ambassador Menzies, who has served as head of the U.S. Office in Kosovo, and with the group of students from the USA, spoke about the achievements of the Republic of Kosovo, for the consolidation of the citizenship and its recognition as well as about the economic development of the country.

President Jahjaga stressed that Kosovo is a country built on the principle of citizenship, where all communities enjoy their rights and is an independent country, with a territorial integrity and guaranteed international subjectivity. She said that Kosovo has become a factor of peace and stability in the region and promoter of good neighborliness.

Ambassador Menzies and the students group from the USA thanked President Jahjaga for the reception and praised her role in leading the state. They were interested in the current situation in Kosovo and the possibilities that the country offers for investments from abroad.
