The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Madam Atifete Jahjaga received in a meeting the Deputy Director of the Institute for Global Security in the University of Durham, UK, Dr. James Sweeney and a group of 12 students of this institute.
Mr. Sweeney informed President Jahjaga on the activity of the Institute, i.e. University, which is the third university in Britain according to rankings and enjoys a high reputation.
The students made numerous questions to the President regarding the developments of the Republic of Kosovo as a place where international intervention has been successful, and a country which is headed by a female president.
President Jahjaga spoke about the achievements of the Republic of Kosovo, about the consolidation of the statehood and its recognitions, about the economic development, as well as a range of other issues.
