President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga, sent a telegram of condolence to the President of the United States of America, Mr. Barak Obama, after a number of fatalities and devastation of a grand scale, caused by the tornado in Oklahoma City.
The telegram states:
Honourable President Obama,
We received with great pain and sadness the news about the devastation caused by the tornado which hit the Oklahoma City leaving behind many victims and massive destruction.
On behalf of the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo and on my personal behalf, please accept our most sincere condolences to the families of the victims and to the American people.
At this dolorous and mournful time for your country, our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Please accept my assurances of highest consideration.
