President of the Republic of Kosovo Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga received at a meeting today the Deputy Prime-Minister of Croatia, Mr. Neven Mimica
At the meeting, president Jahjaga stated the importance of this meeting at this, very important moment for Kosovo, after the end of the international supervision of the independence. She stated that Kosovo has developed very good relations with all the neighbours and has proved that it is an example of peace and stability in the region and further afield.
President of the Republic of Kosovo expressed the dedication of the institutions to dialogue with all its citizens, by underlining that the future of Kosovo and also of the whole region is in their integration in the Euro-Atlantic structures.
President Jahjaga underlined the importance of the support and dedication of Croatia for Kosovo to accomplish as soon as possible all the democratic criteria for integration in the European family based upon the experiences and expertize of Croatia.
Deputy Prime-Minster of Croatia Mr. Neven Mimica offered the full political support of the institutions of Croatia for all the processes that Kosovo is going through. He expressed the dedication of Croatia in sharing experiences and expertise in order to increase the dynamics of Kosovo’ Integration.
Mr. Mimica also expressed the support of the republic of Croatia for the membership of Kosovo in regional and international initiatives and the readiness of his country to intensify the bilateral cooperation in all fields, particularly that of economic development.
He congratulated the President Jahjaga in her role that led to the approval of the request made by the Croatian minority to win the rights of the ethnic minority in Kosovo.
