President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga, and the USAID Kosovo Mission Director, Ms. Maureen Shauket, signed today the Assistance Agreement between the USA and the Republic of Kosovo, through which assistance is offered to the Parliament of the Republic of Kosovo, to the political parties and for good governance.
Program areas covered by this agreement are: “ Efficient rule of law”, “Macroeconomic base for development”, “Improvement of business environment”, “Agriculture”, “Loan alleviation and financial mediation”, “Youth, employment and participation”, Transformative leadership”, “Conflict mitigation”, “Energy”, “Good governance”, “Assistance to the Parliament” and “ Program support”.
