On the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, the Presidency and Assembly building is illuminated in orange

On the occasion of the marking of November 25th - International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, the 16 Days of Activism campaign has commenced with the lighting of the building where the Presidency and the Assembly are located - in orange.
The campaign started today on November 25th and was supported by the President Mrs. Vjosa Osmani and the Speaker of the Assembly Mr. Glauk Konjufca.
 
This day is known as the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women and ends on December 10th, on Human Rights Day.
 
Every year the campaign calls for global action to raise worldwide awareness in the prevention and elimination of violence against women and girls.
 
The official colour of the campaign is orange, which symbolizes a bright future and a world free of violence against women.
 
The building, where the Presidency and the Assembly are located, will be lit from 18:30 until tomorrow.
