Prishtina, February 16, 2018 – The President of Montenegro Filip Vujanovic has sent a letter of congratulations to the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, on the tenth anniversary of Kosovo’s independence.

On behalf of the citizens of Montenegro and my own, I extend my cordial congratulations on the occasion of the national holiday, February 17, the Independece Day of the Republic of Kosovo, along best wishes for continued advance of Kosovo and prosperity for its citizens.
Montenegro and Kosovo are an example of good neighbourly cooperation in the region contributing greatly to its stability and securing prosperous European future for their citizens. I am certain that we will continue with joint efforts in that direction.
