Acting President Vjosa Osmani received today the First Deputy Prime Minister of North Macedonia, Mr. Artan Grubi.
Both interlocutors praised the good neighborly relations and expressed their commitment to further advance them.
Mr. Grubi congratulated President Osmani on the success in the elections of February 14.
He informed Mrs. Osmani about the progress of the census process in North Macedonia and stressed the importance of greater involvement of the Albanian Diaspora.
In this context, Mrs. Osmani has supported this process by asking the Diaspora to respond massively to the census in North Macedonia. According to her, beyond the statistical aspect, this census will be substantial in advancing the civil rights of the Albanians.
At the meeting there was also discussed about the challenges in managing the Covid-19 pandemic and the efforts of both countries to provide anti-Covid vaccines.
It was mentioned that between the two countries there are 19 draft agreements so far, which can be reviewed with the creation of the new institutions in Kosovo.
