Acting President Vjosa Osmani-Sadriu received today in a meeting the Ambassador of Finland, Mrs. Pia Stjernvall. At the meeting, Ambassador Stjernvall congratulated Acting President Osmani for the s achieved result and success in the parliamentary elections of February 14.
Among others, the role played by women in these elections and their high turnout was emphasized, which both sides considered as a strong message for concrete and systematic commitment of the new institutions in terms of guaranteeing and promoting gender equality in the country in all fields.
Likewise, at the meeting there was also discussed about the importance of the as soon as possible establishment of the institutions and the need to focus on a development program that guarantees a better life for all citizens in the country, especially for the youth of the Republic of Kosovo, to whom a better perspective and future should be offered in their own country.
