The Acting President of the Republic of Kosovo, Dr. Vjosa Osmani, commemorated martyrs Rexhep Mala and Nuhi Berisha.
Mrs. Osmani said that they were an early herald of the liberation struggle, as with the fall they became contributors to the freedom of Kosovo.

37 years ago, in Kodra e Trimave in Prishtina, Rexhep Mala and Nuhi Berisha, as the two founders of the Student Committee, the forerunners of the student spring of 1981, resisted the oppressive policy of the Serbian regime, by falling heroically.
They were the early herald of the liberation struggle, as with the fall they became contributors to the freedom of Kosovo.
Their contribution proves the difficulties we faced until achieving the freedom of the country.
Today, these two martyrs are proudly commemorated and are a symbol of self-denial and sacrifice for freedom.
May the memory for Rexhep and Nuhi be eternal, as well as for all those who contributed to the freedom of Kosovo!
