After the triple success achieved at the international film festival “Sundance Film Festival”, in honor of the 13th anniversary of Kosovo Independence, Acting President Vjosa Osmani awarded the film director Mrs. Blerta Basholli the Presidential Medal of Merit.
At the ceremony organized on this occasion, Acting President Osmani congratulated Mrs. Basholli on the success achieved in one of the most prestigious international festivals as well as for the dignified representation of our country in the international film scene.
Acting President Osmani said that “The work that you and your colleagues have done over the years to showcase the history of Kosovo beyond our borders is to be admired. All of us in Kosovo are proud of your achievements and we thank you for the special contribution you are making towards the creation of a new image of our country “.
Acting President Osmani also emphasized that support for the artistic community will receive special attention and that the work, commitment and zeal of the artistic community should be a reference for policy-making in the country.
