The Acting President of the Republic of Kosovo Dr. Jakup Krasniqi has sent a letter to the President of Austria, H.E. Mr. Heinz Fischer, congratulating him and his people on the National Day of Austria.
Congratulating President Fischer on his behalf and on behalf of the people of Kosovo, Mr. Krasniqi points out that Kosovo and the Republic of Austria have long enjoyed a vibrant partnership, rooted in shared values, mutual interests, and common history.
Further on, the Acting President of the Republic of Kosovo highlights that Austria was one of the first Countries that has agreed to recognize Kosovo as a State and that has helped it shape itself and become recognized as a sovereign and independent State all over the world and that, today, our nations are trying to be bridge among EU Countries, as partners and allies.
“Kosovo appreciates Austrians’ support of the recognition and assistance in all building institutions, KFOR from the beginning, among its many other contributions”, Mr. Krasniqi asserts in his letter of congratulation.
“On this Austrian National Day, I wish the very best to your people everywhere and look forward to our continued collaboration and cooperation, security, and prosperity in the 21st century. I avail myself of this opportunity to renew assurances of my highest consideration to You, Your Excellency, and to the Austrian friendly people”, the Acting President of Kosovo Dr. Jakup Krasniqi writes in his letter of congratulation.
