Osmani: Effectuation of the right to vote, the fundament of democracy
The Republic of Kosovo demonstrated that it is capable of organizing free, fair and democratic elections, through which the citizens via the act of voting, showed that the right to vote and to be elected are the foundation of democracy and reverence of political freedoms!
I congratulate all the citizens of Podujevë and those of North Mitrovica for the prudence shown during this whole process, despite the fact that it took place during a pandemic.
I congratulate the Central Election Commission and all those involved for the work and great commitment with which the organization of the elections was attained, in accordance with democratic standards.
I also express my gratitude to the representatives of the civil society for their commitment to observing these elections as well as to the media for reporting from these two municipalities!
